Cleveland County Habitat for Humanity works to partner with families to help them achieve the dream of home ownership. If you are interested in owning your own home and have exhausted conventional resources, we encourage you to apply. Our family selection process at Cleveland County Habitat is impartial. We sell homes to qualified families of all ages, faiths, races, walks of life, and cultures. We are looking for poorly-housed people with no way to buy a home on their own. We are looking for people who will be responsible for house payments and home maintenance, and who are willing to partner with Cleveland County Habitat to build their homes and the homes of other approved families. We want people who want to be a part of the Habitat for Humanity community. CCHFH does not discriminate against single applicants. A family is defined as a single person or more. Selection to receive a Habitat home is not based on family size, but rather on need.

*Need is defined by substandard, inadequate, dangerous or overcrowded housing. Minimum combined income is $21,655.
**A "household" is defined as a married couple, a couple, or a legally single person. Applicants who are legally separated do not qualify.
***Workable credit is defined by a limited number of collections, judgements or foreclosures. Any bankruptcy must be within two years prior to the date of application.
